Kitchen Garden @ Brabourne Farm

It's been a lovely week in the kitchen garden - the poppies have flowered (they're absolutely divine), the roses are amazing, the onions and garlic are nearly ready to be lifted, the corn is flowering, the new seedlings are looking happy and the herb garden is overflowing.  Who could wish for more!

Golden Vale (Another Southern Highland's Garden)

Golden Vale is a beautiful old National Trust house and garden here in the Southern Highlands - it  was opened to the public for the first time yesterday and hosted Pacific Opera in a picnic concert.  We had the most wonderful afternoon sitting in the dappled shade of  the old oak trees listening to beautiful music.  My idea of a perfect day!
