A Cosy Corner

Winter 's back in the Highlands - it's freezing cold and blowing a gale so I'm off to find a cosy corner out of the wind. The garden will have to wait!

  2. Ah yes, I can imagine myself loungin' on the day bed in #1, listening to the birds; sittin' and reading a book while stroking my dog's head in #2; rockin' away the afternoon sippin' ice tea in #3; having some lunch with a good friend in #4; feeling the cool breeze lookin' out over the gorgeous scenery from my chair in #5; and finishing off the day with a couple of family members around the table with a cup of cocoa.

  3. I love every one of these, Leigh! Having a cosy corner to escape to is so important. It was windy here today, too, so I curled up inside on the window seat with a good book. xo Gigi

  10. I love these outside spaces, especially the verandah with the rocking chair. That's the only thing about living in the U.K.....we don't have verandahs 'cos the weather doesn't really lend itself to them !!!!Don't get me wrong, we do have lovely weather, but just not enough of it and it's so unreliable.......I'll just have to look and be envious!! 11. Let me pour my coffee and I'll be right there on one of those gorgeous patios to join you. We'll order up the sun and stop the wind and bask in the loveliness!

  13. Hi Leigh,

The weather this weekend has been horrific here as well, I wish I could have curled up with a book in one of these lovely nooks.

"Highlands" Are you here in the Southern Highlands ? It would be great to know there was a like minded blogger near by.

I love your images, some of my very favourites and you always surprise me with amazing new ones. I'm sure you have more magazines than I do, I'm about to do a huge toss out, would you like them?

    xx Coty
