Don't you just love a chandelier in the kitchen - they look so deliciously decadent and add such an elegant touch!

Oh my! I am def. on the lookout for a fabulous chandelier for my kitchen!
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos Leigh! I love the way chandeliers look in kitchens!! Actually, I love them just about anywhere! hehe ..
ReplyDeleteI told Mum last weekend that I wanted to hang one of those chandeliers with silk shades over my country style kitchen table when I move house. She didn't think it would work. I beg to differ. :D
ReplyDeleteLovely pics!! The first image looks like the cutest little french kitchen!
ReplyDeleteHi Leigh,
ReplyDeleteThankyou, firstly for today's lovely pics. I especially like the use of white shades on the chandelier in image 2 (and 5). And secondly for the kind words you left me re my upholstering.
I absolutely LOVE your blog. I could live outside in your beautiful grounds, very Paul Bangay-ish, fan-tastic!!!

I completely agree...I just ordered a chandi for my kitchen and it should be here soon! Your kitchen pics are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDelete:) T
Love a chandelier in every room! Low ceilings, but I could put one over the kitchen sink! Thanks for the reminder. (look at the moulding in the pic with the pretty almond stove!)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. I have been begging my husband to let me change out our current light fixtures in our kitchen for some yummy chandeliers. Now after looking at these photos, I want them even more!

I just went through a huge photo file on kitchens. Most of them had white walls! I guess I know what colour to paint them now!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these!! I am looking for inspiration for a kitchen re-do and I'm going to add this to my list.
ReplyDelete* Yummy~ Have ALWAYS loved "the look"!!! (And especially am endeared to that first photo.... so darling!!!)~
ReplyDeleteNOW, I'm NOT much of a COOK anymore, & when meals are made, it's usually salad & grilled meats (done outside) for us... BUT, I STILL think of the "practicality" (OMG!) of SHADES in a space where cooking takes place~~~ Can't help it... Annnd, if someone actually FRIES food anymore, what about GREASE??? ( Of course, personally, if I DID cook that way, I'd just "STOP" so I COULD have the pretty chandelier!!!)~
Thanks!!!

I am thinking of hanging one over my bench top... My kitchen needs some glamour!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the second kitchen. It is one of my favourites!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, luxurious kitchens.....they put mine to shame !!!!....only thing is (and I'm being a bit practical here. Not like me !!!!) kitchens are very greasy places and I think that the chandelier may suffer...just a thought. Am I being an old stick in the mud, Leigh? (sorry, that could be an English expression.)
ReplyDeleteOh I really do! The third picture is just divine .... folder!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Oh my! I realize I am always wanting to redecorate something, but if I could just live in those white inspired photos please, I will never ask for another thing... until next time.
ReplyDeleteI love white rooms. Gorgeous.
If I had two choices - look at photos of jewelry or kitchens, it'd always be kitchens, hands-down.
ReplyDeleteThe second & last photos are my fav. My kitchen is like a tomb..dark..dark..dark. D:
Lovely post xx
How I wish I had enough room in my kitchen for a long table like in that one photo! I love kitchen bling!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
