Shelfscapes - another variation on my favourite, tablescapes. What a wonderful way to display books and collections and all those other wonderful treasures we all love.

    I love the masculine quality of the sixth photo down. And anything with miniature chairs wins me over anytime. I've collected miniature chairs for years. My favorite is a 4" tall French bentwood chair with a green velvet cushion. Perfection. xo Gigi

    The aqua sets of the contents of the shelf really well. I love the plum vases in #1 too.

    All of these displays are wonderfful and a great source of inspiration....I can get some good ideas from these images. I think that my favourite is third from the bottom. XXXX

    This makes me want to go and reorganise my shelves right now but my kids might not appreciate being left waiting by the school gate!
    How gorgeous are those talls lamps and the chairs in the first image!
    By the way, your blog is lovely, I especially love the photo on your header. I stop by as often as I can.

    I think shelves can be difficult to pull off well. These are lovely examples of how to do it right!

    Hey, we should have "shelfscapes" just as we have "tablescapes." I love to see how other people arrange things on their shelves. Kind of speaks of their personlity.
