Home is Where the Art Is

.
From beautiful classic portraits to brilliant and vibrant modern art, the choices are endless. Art is probably the thing that best shows our style and personality - I choose art because I love it but I guess if I'm honest, how it suits the room is also a big factor. Don't know if this is quite right, but it works for me!

  1. Oh I see you have one of my favourite artists featured - Thornton Walker. Just love his style! The little bowls are so beautifully depicted. Thanks for the Monday morning inspiration. Lee :)

  2. I just came across your blog from another blog. I'm not sure which one? Anway, I love your home. It's beautiful. Do you mind sharing the paint color you used in the kitchen and living area? THanks, Elizabeth

  3. Hi Elizabeth

The colour we used in the entire house is Dulux "Desert Valley". It's a fabulous colour - we've lived with it for over 7 years and I love it as much now as when we first moved in. It goes with everything!

    Cheers

  4. I'm an art lover and I'm really drawn to all of the pieces in these rooms. A great piece of art can just make a room and these are wonderful examples. And I totally agree with you that it can really say a lot about who we are. This is such a great post!
