Today's gardening chores - more vegetable planting, bamboo trellis building (sweet peas), weeding in the orchard and raking the last of the winter leaves (I hope).

  4. These are fantastic images. I really hope to create a beautiful 'kitchen garden' once we finish building our new home. I would really enjoy cooking with the fresh seasonal produce. Also, down the track when we've got children, I think a vegetable garden/orchid is a wonderful way to teach them about food. Thank you for sharing - I'll file these images away for inspiration!

  5. A truly fantastic selection of kitchen gardens - can't possibly pick my fave, just love them all. I left my run with Sweet Peas almost too late this year, but I do have a couple of dozen that have 'sprouted'. I'm carefully training them up the frame, but they keep flopping off! Any hints Leigh?
