In the Bird House








Another of my very favourite garden things are dovecotes. I love these gorgeous little bird houses - unfortunately we've never had a bird take up residence in ours but I live in hope that one day some lovely feathered creatures will call it home.

    The birds seem to use our dovecote as a meeting place. They sit in it during the day. Talking? Gossiping? Dispensing advice? Who knows. But they never make nests in there and stay. It's sort of like the local pub, I guess.
