Making an Entrance

.
What do you have near your front door? A coat rack or umbrella stand, a table for keys and mail, a bowl of flowers or a plant, a beautiful mat, fabulous art work or a mirror, a gorgeous chair, a place for muddy wellies .... I love seeing what people have as a welcome to friends and family.

  1. I am really loving when front doors are painted a color on the interior too. I have plans to paint my own front door, and might just be tempted to do the inside too!

  3. I do love the teal blue door. When we buy our house and we have no strata we can go crazy with the colour! Beautiful inspiration. x

  6. I wish I had a "grand entrance." Mine is just a little space where you walk in and then are practically stumbling into the living room. Have a coat rack (rarely needed here, but hubby wants it) and a shelf with Polish pictures on the wall. (He's Polish) It's more his area, since that space is "his" living area. Mine is the garden room. Saves many marriages this way, I'm sure!
