I love all these beautiful dressers and plate racks. What a great idea it is to have all your dinnerware displayed on shelves and dressers, not locked away where you can't see them!

I dream about having all white dishes, a large open shelving unit AND the space to store that unit! Lovely images as usual Leigh.
ReplyDeleteI love all these beautiful dressers too. And only white dishes is my dream some Day.
ReplyDeleteI love this collection of pictures.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day and a fantastic 2010!!
xoxo
Love all of these Leigh. Unfortunately for me, even though I do have all white dishes, I fear if I had them on display I would be forever cleaning the darn things! Or at least "thinking" i should be cleaning them.
ReplyDeleteReally gorgeous images as usual Leigh.
Lesley
Lovely! This makes me want to have a dinner party! But only if I can have some of those amazingly gorgeous peonies from your last post. Gosh, how can I wait until May??
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I'm doing in our kitchen. One side will have shelves not unlike the last image, but big drawers underneath.
ReplyDeleteI love the selection, as always, thanks Leigh.

I absolutely agree. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have remodeled my kitchen with cabinets. I'd love to have them all open where I could see the dishes. And it would have been so much cheaper too.

They are absolutely wonderful!

Dear Leigh - I am nominating you for the 'Kreativ Blogger' award - would love to hear seven things we don't know about you!Love Susie x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful displays of china and crockery on lovely dressers and shelves, Leigh.
ReplyDeleteI only have white china as, I think that it looks really good out on the dresser and I also think that food looks at it's best on a white plate.
Fabuous images. I could make room for any of them. XXXX
Love your blog! As for the open shelving...what about dust all over those dishes all the time...seems like glass fronts is a better option. I have an open hutch and I am always having to wash unused plates because of a dust film. ( BTW, I am a good housekeeper...dust just happens. :) )
ReplyDeleteHI Leigh
ReplyDeleteJust like Jacqueline I only have white china.. It makes it easy to buy extra too.. but I still love a few few accents pieces and any one of these displays would show them off to their full advantage...
You Have a great choice here as some could easily be achieved by a DIY project... but I'd really love one of those country dressers...
have a great day Leigh.. xx Julie
Brilliant simple design. I like it.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards,
Simone.
I'm sure I could never keep it looking like that, but it's really delightful and good-feeling.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Leigh,
ReplyDeleteLovely collection of photos, the open shelves look so pretty and gives you a chance to show off your dishes!
When I moved to Paris I soon learned that many French kitchens are set up like this, at first I wasn't so sure about the set up but have come to love the idea.
Thanks for all the inspiration!
delicious is right... love it all... x pam

Hi Leigh,
ReplyDeleteOh my, these are stunning! These would fit... ummm... nowhere in my house! But I am stashing them away in my 'I shall have' file for now! I love the huge white dresser with the crooked doors the best.. so much character.
:)
Amazing and wonderful pictures! Julie from France
ReplyDeleteI will take note of that. Nice post.
