Glasshouse Update @ Brabourne Farm

Yesterday we finished painting the new shelves.  After trying many different colours I decided on a blue grey - it's perfect as it blends beautifully with the glasshouse.  One of my chores for today is to order spring bulbs - tulips, crocus, daffodils, alliums, hyacinths, oriental lilies .... the glasshouse will be a mass of gorgeous colour come springtime!

  1. Leigh, at last you have the glasshouse/potting shed you've been dreaming of. And it's better than I could have imagined, just stunning. Rachaelxx

  2. Beautiful glass house! Do you mind if I ask where you got it? I'm not sure if I can get it where I live (Maine, USA), but would love to check into it. I really enjoy your blog, thank you for sharing!

  13. In our little yard, our meyer lemon tree is full of fruit. I picked some and put them in a dish in our guest room (my mother is visiting) and the room has a fresh scent.

  15. I'm so glad I found your blog. I've been reading (and looking) at a few of your older post of the property. The gardens are fantastic! I'm going to take inspiration from some of your photos for the gardens we are installing here on our southern US farm. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to spend more time clicking through your blog.

  16. Your greenhouse is beautiful! I have a little 10x16 discount version in my vegatable garden. But, seeing what you'd done fills me with ideas that can improve its look. Thanks for the inspiration!
