  1. Leigh! Our room is too big...we have a crib sized youth bed (stacked with a crystal chandelier and extra bedding) between our king sized bed and a settee/love seat, which has an ottoman and plenty of space to pass between it and the television console.

    That youth bed needs to go!

  3. at the end of my /our bed, I have a picnic bench which I transformed with upholstery and nailhead trim into a chic ...well.... picnic bench..but It works!!!!

    I have just tonight subscribed (via email after a year of following) so I wont miss any of your absolutely beautiful posts...I live in an 130 year old country house...the good the bad and the lovely...but I would not have it any other way

  4. I love a bench at the end of the bed. For some reason, actually no reason at all, just personal preference - I hate the look of a sofa at the end of a bed!

  9. Nothing .. I used to have a beautiful backless armless seat .. sort of a giant cushion that was good for the cat and the puppy when they wanted to join us in bed.
    But that was left behind when we moved to South America :)

  13. You spend 8-9 hours on your bed. You better make sure it's comfortable. On a side note I love the blue and black striped white pillows. They are super cute.
