Cover Story

I love these linen and burlap slipcovered chairs.  Slipcovers are such fabulous things - not only are they practical, they can turn even the ugliest chair into something elegant and beautiful.

  1. I love linen myself. It's a magical fabric, especially in cream colors.

  2. I love linen too leigh. It's the most gorgeous fabric, even if it's crumpled and worn. In fact, I think it looks even better that way. The chairs are all gorgeous!

  4. Well, it's very NICE.. I do not care for the chairs covered. That's only me Now.
Please do not take Offense. It's the very last photo. I like the 4th one.
I would love it out doors for a lawn party.

Makes me thing of opening up a house that has been closed.

  12. I love the look of slip covers when they are tidy ... but I couldn't live with the fact that they tend to shift and look rumply after a while.

  14. * Couldn't agree with you MORE, Leigh~~~ I never tire of seeing slipcovered "anythings", even tho I have none myself~~~ (Ewww! Can't BELIEEEEVE I "admitted" that & even "said" it out LOUD~~~ "publicly!"! I'm HANGING MY HEAD in SHAME here!... Grins!)~

NOW, a question: Just redid the MBR & Jim n' I BOTH just love it & the palest of neutral colors. Am about to have both of my "old" nightstands professionally slipcovered (I adore their size!)~ lined & very tailored. I can't WAIT to see what my "design & vision" will turn out like, but I'd ALSO like to know: will THOSE make me finally & officially a "member of the Slipcover Sisterhood"??? (Yes, "I wanna join!"... Insert grin here, please!)~

As you know, I allllways love your blog & photos. Pics #2 & #5 are my faves here today, & I think #5 is ALSO a fave because of those THREE faaabulous old JUGS on the table~ simply DIVINE!!!

As ever, your taking the time to always present a wonderful, fun & charming blog, full of ideas & inspirations, is so appreciated!!!

Merry Christmas to you & those you hold dear, my friend!~~~

  21. Oh Leigh. Everytime I come and look at your latest post, I love all of it. I was going to say that I love the second one and then the third and so on. Gorgeous, each and every one of them. XXXX

  22. Such wonderful ideas here Leigh. Of course I'll have to use them after MOTH goes to the Nursing Home, I think they'd last 2 seconds before he'd slop either food or red wine over them! There seems to no direct line between the plate & his mouth.
