Bedside tables are not only useful to hold all your bedtime essentials - lamps, clock, jug of water, telephone, flowers and most importantly books and magazines, they should also be beautiful.
.
There seems to be no end of possibilities as to what can be used for bedside tables - matching (or not matching) chests of drawers, trunks, side tables, cabinets ..... if it's beautiful, use it!
.
And my favourite thing - it's another wonderful opportunity to create a tablescape.

Yep my dilemma at present. What to use as bedsides, as my tragic 1980's Balinese style tables were sold in my last garage sale. Another wait and see issue. Love every one you posted! You're not making it any easier Leigh! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteLOVELY blog...found you from Desire to inspire. I'm inspired!!!
ReplyDeleteBedsides have been my passion since I was a kid ... I think I wanted a table that'll fit all sorts of God forsaken things :) ... including a lamp that'll be just right to read by... and what a co-incidence my bedside picture would match your last image ... I have the identical bedback and the tiny oriental cupboards on the sides...and yes beige and black color scheme too :)
ReplyDeleteYou really post beautiful images and I look at your blog everyday. Thanks for the inspiration
ReplyDeleteKind Regards
Karen
