Hillview (A Southern Highlands House and Garden)

We visited Hillview at Sutton Forest over the weekend.  This beautiful old house and garden was the country retreat for the governors of NSW and is currently being restored.

Golden Vale (Another Southern Highland's Garden)

Golden Vale is a beautiful old National Trust house and garden here in the Southern Highlands - it  was opened to the public for the first time yesterday and hosted Pacific Opera in a picnic concert.  We had the most wonderful afternoon sitting in the dappled shade of  the old oak trees listening to beautiful music.  My idea of a perfect day!
