Golden Vale (Another Southern Highland's Garden)

Golden Vale is a beautiful old National Trust house and garden here in the Southern Highlands - it  was opened to the public for the first time yesterday and hosted Pacific Opera in a picnic concert.  We had the most wonderful afternoon sitting in the dappled shade of  the old oak trees listening to beautiful music.  My idea of a perfect day!

Another gorgeous garden, Leigh. I love the columns and the lupins and that wonderful urn. We have a lot of opera in the 'open air' and even nicer in such a fantastic venue. XXXX XXXX

Oh Leigh, you live in such a lovely part of the world - this is a perfect example of why the Southern Highlands is one of my favourite places. It sounds like you had a wonderful afternoon. Lee :)
