Dressing Table Talk

.

.
A dressing table can add a touch of romance and glamour to a bedroom. Do you have one? I don't but I'm wondering if I should have one in my bathroom .....
.
Did you know that the dressing table originated in 18th century France - they were called "toilette" or "toilet tables" because women used to wrap their cosmetics in a small, square linen cloth (the toilette) before they put them in a chest.

  2. The final one is my favorite only because its realistically styled with stuff. I always laugh the images stylized with nothing on the table, which to me defeats the point.
I loved mine & miss it in the new house. Its definitely a great luxury..go for it if you can!!!
I also say thank you for the lesson. I did not know this & love to learn soemthing new.

  7. I don't have one, but my mum had one when I was a kid and I used to love to play with her makeup and jewellery.
I love the mirrored one in image 4, as well as the gorgeous painting above it.
