Lofty Ideas

.
I've always wanted to live in a loft. As much as I love modern factory conversions, there is something so lovely about this collection of not-so-modern lofts - the beautiful oak beams, wooden floors, the neutral colours, the bookshelves, the furniture, the windows ..... perfect!

  3. I love these photos! I live in a loft--a textile mill conversion--that my husband likes to call "barn industrial" because we have lots of old wooden beams that give it a more rustic look than most urban lofts I've seen. These photos are so inspiring. Wouldn't that bathroom be lovely to have? Sigh. Someday . . .

  6. Oh aren't they lovely! The first one took my breath away with it's lovely washed beams and floors and cosy fireplace and I love the simplicity of the 2nd one and the way the light is coming through the window...just gorgeous!

  10. Fabulous photos, I love the idea of being up high. I like seeing birds fly past the window, I must have been a bird in a previous life as I feel safe when up high!
