It's exceptionally windy here but it's lovely and sheltered in the kitchen garden so I'm hoping to finish the last of the rose pruning today. Hope you have a lovely gardening day!

I am afraid my garden has that overgrown, tired look of late summer. Your photographs are inspiring. I must do some tidying up next week!
ReplyDeletelots of rain for us, and no gardening until 'next' year for me (too much to do on the inside!), but your photos are lovely and very inspirational!

Leigh, these are lovely, inspirational pictures. I have a family birthday lunch to go to today, but I'm going to find a quick half hour or so to do some planting & fertilising in my small, inner-city back garden. While you on the other hand have the gorgeous delights of the Brabourne Farm garden. Enjoy your day in the garden. Lee :)
ReplyDeleteI need to buy a few more rose plants this weekend, thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky. It is so dry here it is soo depressing my garden is turning to a desert. We have very strict water restrictions and can only water by bucket only on certain days and times. But excitingly my dancing lady orchid is about to bloom a reminder to focus on little pleasures. Have fun in your garden today, cheers Katherine
ReplyDeleteI adore garden antiques....Your pictures were so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThese lovely pictures remind me that as much as I love flowers and plants, a big part of what I adore about gardening are the tools themselves--the spades and pots and clippers. There's nothing more satisfying than a pretty and functional potting shed! I really love that 3rd picture down. Thanks, by the way, for the lovely comment you left on my blog.
ReplyDeleteAhh there's my birdhouse in the first picture.

My, that's where I've been. Out there chopping on plants. Lovely images to inspire me that you have posted here!

And these are all reasons why I can't wait to one day have a garden of my own! (my first floor apartment doesn't allow for it right now) x
ReplyDeleteLove the old wooden wheelbarrows. They make great planters, as do baskets on old bicycles. Another beautiful post. David.
