Shelfscapes - another variation on my favourite, tablescapes. What a wonderful way to display books and collections and all those other wonderful treasures we all love.

Hi! I just found your beautiful blog and I wanted to leave you a comment and let you know that I think it is just so lovely!!!

Love the third image! Gorgeous finds...
ReplyDeleteI love the masculine quality of the sixth photo down. And anything with miniature chairs wins me over anytime. I've collected miniature chairs for years. My favorite is a 4" tall French bentwood chair with a green velvet cushion. Perfection. xo Gigi
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics...just love display shelves done well! Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteNumber two is my favorite. Love that blue-green color with the beach theme.
ReplyDeleteI love that nautical/sailor one. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at things on peoples shelves - it's here that there personality (and their past) can really shine through. You've shown some lovely examples here. Lee :)
ReplyDeleteThe aqua sets of the contents of the shelf really well. I love the plum vases in #1 too.

All of these displays are wonderfful and a great source of inspiration....I can get some good ideas from these images. I think that my favourite is third from the bottom. XXXX
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to go and reorganise my shelves right now but my kids might not appreciate being left waiting by the school gate!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous are those talls lamps and the chairs in the first image!
By the way, your blog is lovely, I especially love the photo on your header. I stop by as often as I can.

I have just discovered your blog and words fail me - I could just say I love it but that is what everyone says. Your collections of photos inspire me to add more beauty to my own life.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
I do like the look of books and beautiful little things!
ReplyDeleteI think shelves can be difficult to pull off well. These are lovely examples of how to do it right!
ReplyDeleteI love what AnnaV said, as I too think you post the best, most inspiring photos!
What beautiful pictures! I have just found you and will keep coming back. Thankyou
ReplyDeleteHey, we should have "shelfscapes" just as we have "tablescapes." I love to see how other people arrange things on their shelves. Kind of speaks of their personlity.
