Woodn't it be Nice










I love white rooms with wood - floors, furniture, mirrors and other beautiful wooden things.  It's such a lovely combination and looks wonderful in every room of the house.

    All these rooms are so lovely. There is a wall covering called American Clay Earth Plaster. The fifth picture you posted of the bedroom, looks like something you could create using this type of wall treatment. www.americanclay.com

    * I find it DIFFICULT to find ANYONE who can't appreciate this clean, uncluttered, fancy-free and honest approach ("Worry" about keeping it CLEAN, yes... but not appreciate the LOOK? Nahhh!)...

    ... Annnnnd, if/when someone feels the NEED/DESIRE to "do something different" for a while, the "base" is just sooooooo perfect!!! (Don't you love that it's our prerogative to DO THAT?!?!)~~~

    This post was rather timely for me Leigh as I have just posted about a cute antique desk I just bought and was wondering whether to paint it white or not. After seeing these images I think I will just live with it as is for a while.

    Hi Leigh, I like it too. It's so crisp and classic. I also really love how the white balances out the darkness of the wood. In fact, because we have so much dark furniture (mostly family pieces), I've been trying to brighten up our house the same way. Now all I need is a nice little painting fairy to do all the work! xoTrina

    Oh I do too, I adore wood...much to my builder's dismay. They are not keen on in Australia, whereas they seem to use it all the time in the US.
