  2. I love old buttons! And running your fingers through a big bowl of vintage buttons is so nice!!

  3. I saw the prettiest lampshade yesterday made from those ivory cream coloured vintage buttons. It was at the Paddington Antique Centre (so many treasures!) I'm thinking of going back today to buy a gorgeous old medicine cabinet for our bathroom, so if I do I'll take a photo of the pretty lampshade for you!

  8. I mostly collect mother of pearl buttons and use them alot! I sew them on curtains, cushions, blouses and coats; lay them in a pretty bowl or string them to curtain tiebacks.
When I was small I played shop with Mom's button box, used them as money...such fine memories! Love the post!
