Oh I totally agree! For years I've had an antique coin silver mint julep cup next to my bed, and it is constantly filled will fresh flowers. I recently found the tiniest of orchids and that is it now! It is indeed the little things, yes?! joan
All gorgeous images! I totally agree - in fact, I just picked some Double Delight roses this morning (to save them from being fried in today's scorching heat) and put them on my bedside table :)
Beautiful! I had those toile curtains in the top photo in a red room to match. I forgot all about it until I saw that photo. I loved that room! Thanks for the reminder! Jeanne :)
I can't even keep fresh flowers anywhere in my house (which I vowed to do last year) let alone on my nightstand. You've inspired me to get back on track- thank you Leigh!
I love the 2nd one with the white, creamy hydramgeas. All of the bedrooms are lovely too. Not many flowers out here in the U.K. at the moment, Leigh. Just snow, snow and more snow.!!!! XXXX
How pretty! I know what you mean; I have one on my bedside table!...

I would love to awaken to sweet-smelling blooms. My critters would knock them to the floor and wreak havoc!
