Where's your favourite place to escape to with a good book - is it the bathroom, by the fire, curled up all warm and cosy in bed, at your desk or relaxed on a squashy sofa?

I am charmed with reading in the bed relaxed after a day of work and taking the dream slowly, but of your images my favorite is 2 ... a hot and cozy place in the cold winter.
oooh how i love to stumble upon a new blog while jumping from others. your blog is beautiful! and i like to turn in early, all cosy in bed with a stack of home decorating books from the library...or a good read. kathi at traybella
Hi Leigh Me again.. Well I love that favourite white tufted chair... but I also love the image above which points to my scattered personality hehe
Funny I haven't read a book in eons most likely due to my eyes are too tired after work... but hopefully this summer I will enjoy a book or two and down at the beach with the sea as my view!! Any one of these rooms though would be a good choice!! xx Julie
I would LOVE to be splayed out with a book on the sofa by the fireplace in photo #2 ... That is my idea of pure, laid-back lounging. In reality, I do my best reading in the bathroom -- where nobody bothers or interrupts me! :-)
I mainly read in bed or on the sofa with my feet up, but I used to get told off all the time as a child for reading anywhere and everywhere - walking down stairs, hanging upside down off a chair, or even in the shower! I love the inspiration wall in the 4th photo, might need to go and re-jig mine! Clare x
I love that first photo! I'm all about white decor!
