Lounging Around

It's rainy and cool here today - definitely not a gardening day - and I'm thinking it might just be the ideal time to curl up somewhere cosy with a good book.  Any one of these gorgeous chairs would be perfect!

  1. I wish I could be lounging in any one of those beautiful rooms, but I'm off to buy groceries in case we get more snow on Friday! I do hope you are doing some lounging today though! Please do a little extra lounging for me, would you?!

P.S. I would want to lounge in photo #5 since it's overlooking the water!

  2. That sounds like a great idea, but which cosy chair/lounge to use?
Is going to be hot here again so despite having to go to work I'm feeling very lazy! If I had one of these chairs I don't think I'd move.

  6. Lounging would turn into 'serious never getting up to move', in those magnificent spots. Leigh you almost give us the most delightful of spaces.

  7. Ah...I'll take #5 please as I think I see the ocean right outside. Once I'm done lounging there I'll take my glass of wine down to the beach and let me feet sink into the sand and smell the salty air and feel the ocean breeze on my face.

  8. Bonjour Leigh,
That longe in the second photo looks too good to be true. A rainy day is the perfect excuse to head for the bookcase.
    Lovely images as always!

  9. Image 3 and 5 look to have a comfortable spot for two, and that's always nice to have a little company while lounging! I love the floor to ceiling windows on #5 and would love to sit and gaze out at any kind of weather there! Lili

  11. I have only recently found your blog, and I have really enjoyed reading it. Your images are beautiful, and we have very similar taste! I would love to know more about your farm, etc. Cooking and gardening are two things which I am extremely interested in, and I would love to know how you got into it, etc.

It's 6.35pm and while I am waiting for the dinner to cook I finally have had a moment to have a look at what visual treats you have for us today. I have been hanging out.
