  2. I could use a little rest and relaxation right about now! And any one of these spaces would be a lovely place to catch a few winks or read a magazine.

I hope you had a nice weekend!

  5. The second one looks heavenly. It reminds me of my dear eccentric great uncle who slept outside on the verandah of their gorgeous country villa all year round.

  22. Dear Leigh - I'll take No. 2 please - could you also arrange the sun to be shining? Actually, any bed, at the moment that doesn't involve three doonas and the electric blanket going at full whack would be a welcome sight! Hope you had a great weekend, I shall be thinking happy daybed in the sun thoughts on this cold, grey Monday! Susie x

  28. dear leigh - rest and relaxation, to me, that perfectly describes your blog! when i have a few precious minutes to spare in my day, i make some tea and scroll through the beautiful pictures that you collect and share. they are truly an inspiration to me! your blog (and the others that you suggest) have prompted me to rearrange my home in a more functional and beautiful way. i don't know that i would have know how to do it, if i hadn't taken the time to pour over the amazing images that you post. thank you for what you do! doreen
