I love the way all these painting and drawings have been arranged. By creating mini galleries, the artwork has turned lovely rooms into fabulous rooms!

ReplyDeleteDie Fotogalerie ist super eingerichtet, mit geschmack, obwohl die Rahmen nicht alle gleich sind. Liebe Grüsse, margaretha
ReplyDeleteIt's such a great look! A big part of my job is hanging exhibitions and it's funny as I have a lot of wall space at home and have hung only a couple of pics! I would like to do a busy wall like one of these though.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Leigh,
ReplyDeleteI love the mini gallery look too - but I need a bit more practice getting it right.
Bonne journée
I love a grouping like those above. Creates such a statement! You have the best photo's Have a great day~ lulu
ReplyDeleteI would love to do something like the one in the first image..but I think my husband would have something to say about it..lol..might have to save this idea for my one day studio ; )
ReplyDeleteGorgoeus Leigh - that fifth image took my breath. The framing and that lamp! wow. julesx
ReplyDeleteOh how I have missed you Leigh, glad I am back.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Leigh! I really like this way of displaying art. I love the first two images and the last one most. Enjoy your day x
ReplyDeleteHi Leigh
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite way to display art... always looks so effective.. now only if the landlord would let me put a million hooks on the wall...
I think i really NEED that sofa in the 2nd image also...xx Julie
I love art walls!! Fabulous post :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, love these salon style groupings of artwork. And, although they often look like they're collected and added to over time, I think they're incredibly hard to pull off successfully.
ReplyDeleteLove the first three photos, then the fourth looks so timid! All the pictures huddled together...
ReplyDeleteThe cushions are on their best behaviour too. This room needs a dog!
Hi Leigh I love this ~its so special. I think it bring personality into a room...Cate :)
ReplyDeleteI adore a good gallery wall and I am a big believer that mixing art and photos along with other momentos is what makes one special! Love the last on in particular. Lots there without being overpowering. Marija
ReplyDeleteOh how I love a wall covered in pictures or photographs. I love it when all the frames are different, or all the same...if you know what I mean Leigh !!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous selection Leigh - I had not seen most of these photos before - you always find such fresh pictures. Love the first one.

So beautiful! I love studying framed pictures! It's like a glimpse into the history of another person's life.
ReplyDeleteGroupings are another favorite of mine and your photos show the subtle effect of linear groupings and the profound effect of random order...so interesting...and beautiful.
I love visiting your blog...always a new perspective, vivid as real life, punctuated with your sense of style and oh so dreamy...your blog has become my new "Wish Book"!
Thank you again and again!
XO
Sandy
Love the white frames!!!
ReplyDeleteYes Leigh I agree, art work adds so much to a room - a window to the owners' personalities.
ReplyDeleteHanging pictures is the hardest job of all too...lovely images Leigh, xv.

What a great post! Thanks for this. As art is my business I always love seeing the different ways people display their collections. These examples really create a focal point in the rooms.

I like those picture walls. It's a look I have to go for; we have so much art and vintage signs on the walls aready that at some point I have to start rearranging them in groups.
ReplyDeleteMy problem is I never know where to start...any suggestions on how to hang that first picture?
ReplyDeleteHowdy Leigh~ more gorgeous images and I thank you for these...they make me feel less inadequate that my six botanicals aren't hanging evenly! Ha.
ReplyDeleteI love those white frames in pic #4.
