I just bought some rosy pink and red fabric to make drapes for my guest bedroom. I'm glad to have these as inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI am totally not a red person, but these few bedrooms are not totally over done, so I can live that...

ReplyDeleteI am in a room that has a few touches of red .. that is the accent color but I am about to increase it a bit with more red and white toile.

The red is not jarring at all. Very restful.
ReplyDeleteScallops and toile and stripes, oh my! What a gorgeous room in Photo 2 ... I'll happily snuggle up there any day. Lovely post, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose heart rugs in between the twin beds are darling!!
ReplyDeleteI live in Japan and your blog is the first one I check every morning. What a lovely way to wake up! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love all these. I have often thought that I would redo my guest bedroom in red toile - it seems so inviting and cozy and elegant, all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely rooms. I've always been afraid of red, and usually its justified...red is often undignified and just a little bright and silly. But those photographs show that a red-ish room can be elegant...
ReplyDeletei am not usually one for matchy matchy...but i LOVE when twin beds are put together this way. the red is a perfect touch!
