Let the Sunshine In

Is there anything lovelier than a room that opens to the garden - I don't think so!

  1. Oh the transoms, the transoms... I haven't even looked past the gorgeous windows to the gardens. I particularly love the first image with the black on white transoms! A-M xx

  5. Hi Leigh,

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I called in!!! I will have to make time in the next couple of days to catch up with your previous posts. Today, my favourite pictures are no. 2 and 3. If we ever built I would so love to put this feature/aspect into a home....so many ideas (sigh). Hope you are well and your library is coming along fine and NO hiccups (grin). Will call in again soon.
    Take care

  7. Beautiful Leigh
I love them all..but the last is sublime!! You know I grew up with this sort of open plan living space.. and feel quite claustrophobic without a view..
Gee everything in that last shot is divine.. The sofa.. cushions.. mirror.. window... chandelier ... Ok.. everything!!!... Have a lovely week .. xxx Julie

  8. Oh, such lovely light rooms ......something that I am always a little envious of, as our Victorian house is a little dark in places !! One of the hazards of owning an English Victorian home !
You have shown some beautiful rooms. We do have a conservatory that opens out onto the garden though. XXXX
