    Pretty post...I have several oriental pieces that I have had for 20 years or more...I love them today...just as much as the day I found them.

    We are lucky to have a son who lived in Japan for 7 years and now a beautiful Japanese Daughter in law ... so we all enjoy all things Asian and especially Japanese :)
    My husband and I have collected certain Japanese artists for years and I have a few pieces of ancient pottery ..

    I couldn't tell you why, but I have never gotten into the Oriental look. Maybe it's the lines? It just doesn't suit me. But I certainly wouldn't say no to relaxing in that bottom picture!! x

    love the clean, crisp look of the white on white room with the lanterns- also, the outdoor colorful seating makes me so happy that spring is almost here in chicago!
