Paint is the best makeover...I must say that turned out great!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely stunning! I love how you even re-purposed the old hardware as well. The gourd shaped lamps are nice as well...I have been keeping my eye on some at JCPenney's for $39.99!
ReplyDeletethanks for all the fab ideas!

ReplyDeleteAnother side of you has been exposed. Although we should already know that from your wonderful art & photography posts.

I love this space! The new black coat on the chest of drawers works wonders!
ReplyDeleteWow Leigh, what a difference a lick of paint makes - this chest of drawers looks fabulous painted black. Very lovely with the chairs either side too.
ReplyDeleteit came out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteblack is my fave.
and those chairs were the same chairs i had at my first dining room table as a young bride.

It is exciting to see what a can of paint can do to bring an old piece a new life. Black was a great choice.
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks great, I just hope I do as good a job on the table I am working on. I have bought an antique pine table and preparing it to paint the legs and skirting in a French wash.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I got the paint for my house, I ended up with Resene Foggy grey, I think it will work well. Hope you managed to match up the grey for yours.
It looks amazing! I love the colour too! So elegant.
