Back Home @ Brabourne Farm

Winter has well and truly arrived at Brabourne Farm so what better way to spend a cold afternoon then by the fire .... freshly baked jamdrops, a pot of piping hot tea, a stack of new books and a pair of very contented and warm Westies.  The only place that isn't looking wintery is the glass house - the succulents are fabulous, the orchids are slowly starting to bloom and there is a hint of hyacinth in the air.  It's good to be home!

  1. Welcome home - it looked like you had a fabulous trip, however, I totally agree - there's certainly no place like home! (...And your boys look VERY content to have you back - lol!)

  5. Your home is lovely and it looks so cosy by your fire, no wonder your dogs look so content by it. It almost makes me long for winter and an excuse to light our fire as its summer here......not that you would know it-its done nothing but rain for a week! xx

  6. Your home looks so cozy, as the fire and the Westies can attest. Of course, here in the USA we are having the polar opposite weather with temperature in the triple digits in many areas. Thanks for making me feel a little cooler.
