Leigh! Our room is too big...we have a crib sized youth bed (stacked with a crystal chandelier and extra bedding) between our king sized bed and a settee/love seat, which has an ottoman and plenty of space to pass between it and the television console. That youth bed needs to go!

at the end of my /our bed, I have a picnic bench which I transformed with upholstery and nailhead trim into a chic ...well.... picnic bench..but It works!!!!I have just tonight subscribed (via email after a year of following) so I wont miss any of your absolutely beautiful posts...I live in an 130 year old country house...the good the bad and the lovely...but I would not have it any other way
I love a bench at the end of the bed. For some reason, actually no reason at all, just personal preference - I hate the look of a sofa at the end of a bed!- Holly

Never thought bunk beds could look so cool! I'm suddenly rethinking my negative decision about my daughter's wish for one.
I love using a bench at the end of my beds. The x-bench is wonderful!!

Nothing .. I used to have a beautiful backless armless seat .. sort of a giant cushion that was good for the cat and the puppy when they wanted to join us in bed.But that was left behind when we moved to South America :)
I love the first photo. So glad you're back from overseas, hope you had a great time.
Lovely bed! If only my apartment looks like this.
if i had the room.....it would be a cushy love seat.xx
You spend 8-9 hours on your bed. You better make sure it's comfortable. On a side note I love the blue and black striped white pillows. They are super cute.
