Bathroom @ Brabourne Farm

As you can see from these photos, my bathroom has a built-in wardrobe (which I chose instead of a bath tub). The other bathrooms ave identical layouts - both have tubs but no wardrobes.

.

The wardrobe in the bathroom idea caused some architect angst as he couldn't get his head around why I'd want a wardrobe in the bathroom but it made perfect sense to me - why leave the bathroom to go to another room to get dressed or get your clothes. I love the result and absolutely wouldn't change it and no, mould and moisture isn't a problem!

.

All the bathrooms have identical fittings and finishes - limestone bench tops, polished limestone in the showers, identical but different sized vanities, blinds and clothes baskets.

It's the Weekend .... Indulge Yourself!

Perhaps .... a sleep in?

Breakfast in bed?

A relaxing spa treatment?

.

Lunch with a friend?

.

A cosy afternoon tea and chat with your closest confidant?

Or put on your prettiest dress and dance the night away?

A Whiter Shade of Pale

These rooms are great examples of white done well. White paint, along with beautiful and simple furniture creates a calm and elegant space - a small splash of colour completes the picture!

On the Shelf

I think a dresser full of beautiful platters, plates, glass and silver is just about the loveliest thing to have in a kitchen. Sadly our kitchen doesn't have a dresser but I can dream .... my next house maybe! (please, not a word to Mr Brabourne - I've promised him this is our forever house and I don't want to cause him unnecessary anxiety)
