Curtain Call

Beautiful curtains can do for a room what a gorgeous scarf can do for a plain dress! Nothing makes windows shine like fabulous curtains.

  1. What lovely diaphonous curtains. They are all beautiful and I love the way they all puddle on the floor.
I remember someone once told me to always have as much material as you can afford. Better to have a lot of cheaper fabric than not a lot of expensive material !! XXXX

  4. Hi Leigh, I hope you're having a wonderful start to your weekend!

I don't have a single drape or blind in our house since the remodel and don't plan to put any up, except for shutters in our bathroom. But if I were to add drapes, those beautiful aqua ones with the little ruffle would be my pick!

  6. Hi Leigh,
Beautiful blog indeed. So glad a comment you left somewhere has led me here.
I'm 100% with your as far as curtains are concerned. they can add a charming unique touch even to the simplest of rooms. The ones you are showing today are all so beautiful I couln't really tell which ones I love best. Maybe the light blue ones in the fourth pic as they are so voluminous and luxurious.

Well I want to say that I love how the curtains are 'voluminous', 'luxurious' and 'diaphonous' but it has already been said so wonderfully above!! They are gorgeous and those sweet blue ones with their little skirt are just adorable.. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.. it's a little humid here again today but i took advantage of the sunshine... xx Julie

  14. My last project was all about curtains ... different types of headings, fabric type, length, rods, tiebacks, stack-backs .... I had curtains on the mind for months!!
    Silks are definitely my favourites!
Great post ... enjoy your weekend my friend!

  16. Agreed! Curtains bring a touch of class and regality to a room. I am a fan of puddling curtains, probably should be because it means going to the dry cleaner more often, but I oh well. Have a great weekend Leigh.

  18. Oh my gorgeous! Coming from a girl who lives in a house with NO curtains, I am suddenly rethinking my bare window philosophy. These add such polish & elegance to each room.
