I do long for summer here. I am actually getting some work done in the yard today. It is in the low sixties which is so much better than it has been here in a long time. I love it.
What a sight for sore, tired eyes your post today is, thanks Leigh. We've had a beautiful summer here in Melbourne this year - lots of sun followed by lovely rain. Hope the 'harvest' went well! Rx
Oh, this is just gorgeous! Here in Sweden we have -20C and I'm really fed up with winter. These summer images are just what I need :) I especially love the photo that's second from the top...
hi Leigh, how did the agapanthus go? I had grand plans for the garden today but alas it is showering...again.. hope you have a lovely day too, cheers Katherine
I plan on spending at least a couple of hours in a location like this today (in between cleaning and laundry!) - or the weekend will be over before I know it.
Thanks for the rpompt Leigh, i'm going to step away from the computer and go loll about a bit.
Hope you're taking a break from the dead heading today!! what a mammoth scale task you have on your hands there!
Oh, to have so little tidying up, washing, and cleaning up after our flood that I could spend today in one of these relaxing places! Bet your muscles are sore after you harvest. Clare x
We are so glad we found this lovely inspireing blog! We also looking forward to the summer...sick and tired of 2 meter of snow... Can we add you to our bloglist? Love C&M
As I scrolled down through your post, I found myself repeatedly sighing. Gorgeous photos that make me long for warm weather. Yesterday the sun was shining, but it was oh so cold. I guess I'a little anxious. =) Great post Leigh.

I hope the dead heading went well and is completed so you can enjoy your Sunday afternoon
ReplyDeleteEach one of these images was a welcome respite from what I still can not avoid...views of the snow that still blankets my property!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful, the first is my favorite. Reminds me of my childhood.
